Meet at University Square Publix about 8:15 am for immediate departure at 8:30 from Publix or meet at Laurel Valley Trailhead Parking at 9:20 to begin hike at 9:30. Hike profile is about 5 miles of ascent, break at the top and return to the cars. Mileage: 10 miles, Elevation Gain: 2200', rating VS (Very Strenuous), carpool: 70 miles, $7 RT. Pace: About 2.5 mph steady, depending on terrain.
