About this event

Walk for Water is a family-friendly event that helps participants experience—just a little bit—what millions of people around the world face every day.

Around the world, women and children often walk miles to collect water that is unsafe to drink. During Walk for Water, participants carry buckets of water along 3 miles to symbolize that daily journey and to raise awareness of the global water crisis.

The event brings communities together to learn about the impact of safe water and to raise funds that support sustainable, safe water solutions through Water Mission. Every step taken helps provide access to safe water and improved sanitation for people in need around the world.

Walk for Water events are engaging, educational, and meaningful for all ages—and they offer a powerful way to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
